Frequently Asked Questions

Q. How much does it cost?
The cost is $35 per person.
Q. How do you book a game?
Click on the ‘Book Now’ tab on our website. Select the number of participants and the date you’d like to attend. The prompts will then walk you through the reservation process.
Q. How far in advance do you need to book?
We recommend reserving your spot as soon as possible. You must book at least 2 hours in advance
Q. What if I want to play at a time that isn’t listed?
Call us! We can be open Monday through Saturday. We will work with you to find an alternative time that works better with your schedule or event.
Q. How many people do you need to play?
The minimum number required to play a game is 2. However, having a group of friends and family can make the experience even more enjoyable. Our recommendation wherever possible is to sign up with a group. Each room can hold a maximum of 8 players
Q. Can I just walk in instead of making an appointment?
No, because of the nature of the games, appointments are required.
Q. Do you have parking?
Yes. There should be plenty of parking available in the parking lot in stalls that are not labeled with businesses names. There is also plenty of parking across Kihei road at Kalama Park by the basketball courts.
Q. How long will the game last?
Games typically last 60 minutes with 10 minutes of debriefing afterward.
Q. What should we wear?
Normal attire that is comfortable and easy to move in is perfectly fine. However, feel free to dress up and get in character for your particular room/mission. In the Zombie Lab please wear comfortable clothes and closed toe shoes to assist in mobility. Flip flops and high heels are not acceptable.
Q. Do you host parties or events?
Yes! We can accommodate businesses and parties. Contact us and we can work something out.
Q. Can I come to The Escape Kihei and play after having a few drinks?
No! Although it might sound like a good idea to have a few drinks and then play, you will want to have 100% of your brain cells at full capacity to make it out of the game on time. Parts of the game can be frustrating, things can be breakable, some things will require a fast response time. All of those are good reasons to come in sober. Our staff may ask you to leave and you will not be refunded your money if you come in inebriated.
Q. What about kids? Can they play too?
"Absolutely. Kids 12 and older can sign up with no restrictions. Kids 8 to 11 can participate when a group books an entire room. Kids can really enjoy the rooms but some of the puzzles are more difficult and will require the adults to solve them. We can work with you though and pull kids out to give them parts of riddles or clues that they can go in and help solve. Kids 0 to 7 are not required to pay and are allowed when a group books an entire room."

Thank You!
